The newest addition to India new currency series means that the RBI has released four new currency notes – Rs 50, Rs 100,Rs 200, Rs 500 and Rs 2,000 .On 10 November 2016, the Reserve Bank  announced the india new currency Rs 50  banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series having the signature of Governor of RBI Urjit R. Patel.  On 5 January 2018, the Reserve Bank of India announced a new redesigned ₹10 banknote.

On 10 November 2016, the Reserve Bank of India announced
Rs 50  banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series having the signature of Governor of RBI Urjit R. Patel. 

The central bank said in a release on Friday  18 August 2017 officially which will be fluorescent blue in colour.

The note has geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse.  The Rs 50 denomination bank notes in the new series will bear the signature of RBI Governor Urjit R Patel. Like the other Indian rupee banknotes, the 50 banknote has its amount written in 17 languagesThe languages are displayed in alphabetical order.

Rs 10 Note

 On 5 January 2018, the Reserve Bank of India announced a new redesigned ₹10 banknote.

As with the other Indian rupee banknotes, the ₹10 banknote has its amount written in 17 languages displays the denomination of the note in 15 of the 22 official languages of India.

The new denomination notes will have the motif of the Sun Temple and the Konark on the reverse side, depicting the country’s cultural heritage. The base colour of the notes is chocolate brown. Rs.10 note, according to reports of RBI. The last change in design in the old Rs.10 note was made in 2005.

Rs 100 Note

On 10 November 2016, the Reserve Bank of India announced a new  ₹100 banknote to be available. The note has other designs, geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverse.

It has been in continuous production since Reserve Bank of India took over the functions of the controller of currency in India in 1935. The old Rs 100 currency note will continue to be legal tender. 

All Rs 100 banknotes issued earlier will also continue to be legal tender,” the central bank said while announcing the issue of the new Rs 100 notes.

The base colour of the new Rs 10 note is Chocolate Brown. The note will carry a motif of Sun Temple, Konark on the reverse side depicting the country’s cultural heritage, instead of the rhinoceros, tiger and elephant present in the old notes

Rs 200 Note

The Reserve Bank of India announced the introduction of the Rs 200 denomination notes on August 25, 2017.

The note has other designs, geometric patterns aligning with the overall colour scheme, both at the obverse and reverseAs with the other Indian rupee banknotes, the 200 banknote has its amount written in 17 languages.

On the reverse is a language panel which displays the denomination of the note in 15 of the 22 official languages of India. The note also has raised printing of the Mahatma Gandhi portrait, Ashoka Pillar emblem, the signature of Dr Urjit R. Patel, RBI Governor," RBI said in a release.

On the obverse, the denomination is written in English and Hindi. Number panel with numerals growing from small to big on the top left side and bottom right side.

Rs 500 - 2000 Note

The current ₹500-2000 banknote, in circulation since 10 November 2016.

The 500-2000 rupee notes introduced immediately after the note ban in November 2016 to the latest addition to the new Indian currency. a part of the Mahatma Gandhi (New) series, with a motif of India's Mars orbiter, the Mangalyaan on the reverse.
